These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Lakeside website and our client service applications, including the LakesideClientService app that connects with Facebook ("Services"), operated by The Lakeside, Thammita, Gampaha, Sri Lanka ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Services

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
You must not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading information.

2. Facebook Login and Third-Party Accounts

If you sign in with Facebook, you are also bound by Meta's terms and policies. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure. You can remove our app's access at any time from your Facebook settings.

3. Bookings, Menus, and Quotations

Information on our website and apps (menus, packages, prices, availability) is provided for guidance and may change without notice.
A booking is confirmed only after we confirm it directly and any required advance payment is received.
Payments, cancellations, refunds, and date changes are governed by the booking agreement or quotation provided to you for your event.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, photos, logos, and design, belongs to The Lakeside or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Google. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always up to date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Lakeside is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or apps. This does not limit any rights you have under a signed booking agreement or under applicable consumer law.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
