Built to host our own family’s wedding, this building stands tall, reflecting the trees surrounding it. With enough space to comfortably fit up to 280 guests, the Main Hall at The Lakeside is perfect for medium to large weddings. The interior of the building on a normal day is bare, allowing you to dress it up your own way, to make you feel right at home. Every wedding at our main hall is unique and beautiful in their own way.
Located just under the Main Hall, the White Lounge brings a mix of white walls and thick plantation, being very versatile for your decoration requirement. Allowing you to host 40 - 80 guests, the White Lounge has seen all kinds of events in the past varying from modern birthdays to traditional poruwa celebrations to engagement parties.
Located adjacent to the garden, the Mini Hall is a perfect shelter for a mix of both indoor and outdoor functions. With the Mini Hall’s doors opening up to the Lakeside Garden, you can host events of 30 - 40 guests. We have seen tea tables, small engagements and parties hosted at the Mini Hall both with or without the use of the garden.
Our Garden and Deck area, while common to be used by anyone are perfect for all kinds of photoshoots. If you are lucky you can even use out boat to float around in our lake for the perfect shot! The lake provides perfect lighting at both sunrises and the sunsets, suitable for all styles of photography. While the main function and photo locations are upfront, The Lakeside also offers more underrated spots we encourage our clients to make use of. The pool area is great for registrations. Our various constructions around the premises provide multiple different photo backdrops. Our vegetation provides all the greenery you need and of you like to take a walk around the back of our Main Hall you will find a lot more hidden spots, perfect for those unique and special spots you didn’t know you needed!
The dressing room, while generally used as a dressing room as the name suggests, also makes a great photo location for more intimate shoots like a robe shoot, getting ready shoot or even a model photoshoot. Allow your photographer to make the best of our interiors for a more rounded set of memories to keep!
